Upcoming Workshops

Deepening Our Connections Through Poetry

Poet Marge Piercy wrote in "The Seven of Pentacles,"
Connections are made slowly, sometimes they grow underground.
Using pre-selected poems, we will explore our own connections
to what matters most to us as we move into the season of autumn
with its deepening colors, deepening beauty, and deepening sense
of what is essential in our lives. You will have a chance to write,
in whatever form of poetry or prose you prefer.

Tuesday evenings, October 23 - November 27
5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs
Cost: $120 for all six sessions

If you are interested, call Susan at 518-587-6229

Susan Jefts provides a comfortable, safe space in which participants feel free to explore what a poem says to them: how it feels on the tongue, what its shape on the page evokes, where it takes them... It becomes healing, transforming and/ or confirms a universal truth (one I knew heart-deep, pulled out of the fray of my mind/body). And Susan accomplishes all this - guides each individual to this point - in her own quiet, graceful and supportive way.
